not a shelter, therefore, they get all the comforts, food and
shelter as other dogs in the home.
However, since no expense is spared for
vet care, what we are
always in need of is money. The adoption donation rarely covers
the vet costs on a Border Collie.
An example of some of the costs, even after a rescue discount are:
heartworm test: $20-$25
vaccinations and fecal: $50-$100
hip x-rays: $100-$150
teeth cleaning: $100-$150
heartworm treatment: $300-$600
Orthopedic surgery: $300-$4000
Even if you can't adopt one of our rescues, you can still make
a difference by donating to Border Collie Rescrue Texas.
Making a donation is quick, convenient and safe! Best of all,
since we are a registered 501(c)3 organization, it's tax
